Breakforth Highlights

- Graham Kendrick’s opening exercise – simple, simple, simple “Lord Have Mercy” – Powerful.
- Choosing to sleep in instead of getting up to listen to Bruce Wilkinson Saturday morning – I didn’t think much of the Prayer of Jabez man before – I have more doubts now. When the leader of the conference feels the need to correct a speaker at the next session (Sat. night – and did it very graciously I thought) you know something wasn’t quite right.
- Phil Keaggy: the best guitar player I will likely ever experience. Amazing. Sometimes it seems like God gifts someone with “prodigy/master artsman” status – Phil Keaggy must be one of those people. It was beauty/art lifting us higher.
- Michael Card: led us through a great service Sunday morning, he should have been in the “big hall”, I could have sat under his leadership the whole weekend. An interesting mix of humility and obvious great giftedness. Quote: Psalm 51 – David ended up at the bottom and found all he had left was all that God had ever really wanted.
- Good times with good friends – 3 of the Ashby family and Arlen.
- Short connection times with friends like the Pattersons, Parkers and other Yellowknife crew.
