Cold Dark Morning

It’s chilly here this morning – the ol’ Toyota said -28 on the way to work – it only goes down to -30 on the car, so we’re getting close to cold anyway. The good part is that in my line of work, the colder it is the less busy it is, so it’s not all bad.

We sure are into full out Christmas season around our house. Christmas baking, tins of chocolate, cookies, and fudge are all over the place – we hand some out to our friends, then they come over and give some back – it’s quite an enjoyable custom.
I only have 6 more days of work left before the big break. More accurately it’s called “parental leave” so I guess I’m going to have be “parental” for 8 weeks. Not sure what will all be involved, but should be fun.
