30 hours home and counting…

Well we made it through our first full night/day at home! So far it’s been pretty good. Elijah is basically just sleeping and eating at this point – about every two hours he wakes up and wants to eat, then is content – we’ll take this a long as possible! Tara was feeling good yesterday so we decided to come home a bit early – it is nice to be back in our own place.

Grandma Laliberte came into town for a quick weekend visit last night – along with surprise visitor Auntie Nicole! It was a very good surprise. We had a busy house today, with the McMillan family still around as well. Next week the house will seem quiet of course – since everyone is leaving on Monday. Everyone except for Heather of course – we are very thankful she is going to be around for a few more months. Elijah is very happy, because he already has her twisted around his cute little pinky finger – which means lots and lots of love coming his direction – and plenty of presents as well!

  3. Congrats to the both of you! We are so… happy for Elijah’s safe arrival and mom’s good health! (to tell you the truth we heard through the grapevine that you had a girl(you know good old WCC gossip mill!) Didn’t know you had this wonderful little site until Carolyn emailed tonight so am putting it to some use; hope you don’t mind. One question. Did Elijah come out with a basketball in his hand??? It will be interesting to see who’s pointers he’ll be listening to in the future. Anyway…best wishes! God Bless. Paul & Crystal Quilliams
