Back Home

Well, we arrived home Thursday night after a nice long holiday, we both started feeling like we wanted to come home about 3 days before we did – so likely the holiday was about right. It was an enjoyable time. Tara’s hand is doing well – she is still wearing a splint/cast at night and for anything strenuous or risky, but she’s already noticing improvement in the strength and flexibility of her fingers, so that is good. She’ll go back to work on Tuesday, but be on “light duties” for a while.
Last night was an especially special night – I had the honor of being part of Brittany Walsh’s baptism. That event is always special – but Brittany is a special person and a special friend. She was a bright spot in a tough last year of ministry for me. This was a completely natural step for her – a result of her growing relationship with Jesus – and it’s good to be part of that kind of thing
