As a Detroit Red Wings fan, this story makes me very happy.  Looks like another decade of domination by the Wings may be on the way.

    it is just as hard for me to believe that there are fans of the redwings, as it is to believe there are fans of the leafs.
    do you like hossa? he is the perfect example of everything that is wrong with the NHL. and the rest of them aren’t much better either.

    sorry, i respect your decision, just don’t understand it.

      Comparing me to a Leaf fan now? I thought you were my friend! I don’t know much about Hossa – but I have to say I’m pretty impressed with a guy who will take a one year contract with the chance to win rather than a bigger one in somewhere horrible. I also kind of doubt you would be saying much about him if the Habs could have sucked him in right?
