Facebook and cool mature Heather

Well it makes me feel old to admit it, but I don’t have a Myspace page… I feel so much better after confessing that. I know it’s kind of a requirement these days (they likely will start giving them out at birth soon) especially for people younger than me, but frankly I find them gaudy looking and hard to use… but that’s just me. Having said that, this week I gave into Heather’s pressure/spam and joined Facebook, which is basically the same thing, although I like to think of it as the slightly more mature version of myspace. I figured if Heather is young enough I must be…
I also see Stephen Harper is part of it, I wonder if he’ll accept me as a friend – he already has 493, that’s impressive.
It kind of seems like just another thing to take time up, but it is interesting to link up with some different people and it seems to have some interesting features. Most importantly it is another way to measure each other, by how many friends you have. I have to say, Harmony is very cool.
tim… in another three weeks there will be something new and better than facebook like my-hi5-nexopia-face-space-book and you’ll have to jump on that one too. myspace has got all the peeps already, shoulda just went with it.
when you do, add me – http://www.myspace.com/nicholasolson
Change is hard sometimes, Nic. But the fact remains, and you will see someday, facebook is just better. Smoother, faster, funner. Yes, funner.
Yep, that’s me…cool, mature Heather:) And that wasn’t spam Tim – I intentionally sent you a personal invitation – you were chosen:)
