All Is Good…

I am now 35 weeks along in this pregnancy and things seem to be going well. The doctor this week sent me for an ultrasound as she thought I was measuring a bit “large” for 35 weeks. In fact I was 4 cm “larger” than I should be at 35 weeks. Anyway, the ultrasound today confirmed that “all is good” and I am right on schedule. The baby weighs about 6lbs right now and had a heart rate of 140 beats per min. So that means I still have 4-5 weeks to wait for this baby. That still seems like such a long ways away, but I am thankful that all is well and there is nothing to worry about at this point. I am off work now until the baby is born so it’s nice to have one less thing to think about.

Great to hear that the little one is doing well….and you too! How is Elijah? Are you excited for Christmas? I sure am – we spent all day baking today to share with friends. I am wiped out and have that yucky feeling from eating too much sugar – yes, I can even feel like that sometimes – ha! I am feeling good too – getting to that “feeling big stage”…but not too bad yet. I am at 27 weeks today. We are staying here this year and I feel grateful for things to slow down this week as we celebrate the season. Will you have any family up there? Benjy’s mom is coming here so that is good – she arrives tomorrow. That’s all for now – Love you, Carolyn
